Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Visidaily collects, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. We keep this short because we genuinely don't collect more than we need.

1. What we collect

Account data

When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We do not store your password in plaintext.

Usage data

We log which pages and features you use so we can improve the Service. This includes timestamps of check runs, site configurations, and error counts. We do not sell this data.

Screenshots

Screenshots of pages you configure are stored on our servers for 14 days, then permanently deleted. We do not analyse, index, or share the visual content of your screenshots.

Payment data

Billing is handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive only a masked card number, billing country, and subscription status. We never see or store your full card details.

Communications

If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence to respond to and track your request.

2. How we use your data

• To provide and operate the Service
• To send you transactional emails (alerts, billing receipts, account notices)
• To diagnose problems and improve the Service
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

3. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in to the dashboard. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.

4. Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data by emailing us. Screenshots are automatically deleted after 14 days. Billing records are retained as required by law (typically 7 years).

5. Data sharing

We share your data only with:

• Payment processor — to handle billing
• Infrastructure providers — our hosting, database and storage providers. All are bound by data processing agreements.
• Law enforcement — if required by valid legal process

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@visidaily.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We use TLS for all data in transit, encrypted storage for screenshots, and bcrypt hashing for passwords. Our Security & Compliance page has more detail.

8. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
